Scott Speed is proving to be a quick study in stock cars. The 25-year-old, who last year was driving for Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula One, notched his second career ARCA RE/MAX Series victory Friday in the Kentucky 150 at Kentucky Speedway.

Barry Larkin is here, but only for the day, which is too bad. His deal with the Washington Nationals expires at the end of this year. Larkin should be back with the Reds in 2009, in whatever capacity he desires.
